Meet The Crew

ELIZABETHBARDON

Elizabeth Bardon is a third year international student from France studying Digital Journalism. She is excited to bring together her love for her country, food, and journalism together in this project.

ALLISON BLOOM

Allison Bloom is a graduate student in the Communications and Digital Media BA/MA program at Pace. She is so excited to be traveling to France and conducting interviews. She is really looking forward to learning more about production and editing. A fun fact about Allison is that she loves to cook!

WESLEY BROWN

Wesley Brown is a third-year Digital Cinema and Filmmaking major. He is excited for this experience and is stoked to get to work on this documentary project as part of a talented pool of creative minds.

KATHY CAPOBIANCO

Kathy is a third year Digital Cinema and Filmmaking major from Long Island, NY! She’s most excited to get to work on a documentary and have the ability to interview people around France with some of her best friends! A fun fact about Kathy is that she likes to paint!

CRISTINA FIGUEROA

Cristina Figueroa is a third-year Digital Cinema and Filmmaking major with a minor in Marketing. She is very excited about the ‘For the Love of Food’ documentary as she is an avid lover of food and cooking. She is also excited to collaborate with others and put her skills to use! Some fun facts about Cristina is that she used to live in Europe and that she is a proud Puertorriqueña!

JERRY MCKINSTRY

Jerry McKinstry is interim AVP of Public Affairs at Pace University. He has spent much of his career – as a journalist and communications professional – in Westchester County and the Hudson Valley where he is well-known and well-respected for his knowledge, understanding, and strategic thinking on media and public relations. At Pace, he manages much of the day-to-day media relations, community affairs, and government relations for the University. He is currently earning a master’s in Communications and Digital Media from Pace. He loves documentary films and previously worked on the award-winning PaceDoc’s production of “Tide to Table: The Remarkable Journey of Oysters.” A native of Yonkers, he received a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Economics from Manhattan College and a Master’s of Science degree in Print and Online Journalism from Iona University. He loves food, travel and film, so this documentary is the perfect convergence of his passions.

ADAM      NG

Adam Ng is a fourth year Digital Cinema Filmmaking major also pursuing his degree in Communications and Digital Media. Adam is excited to be traveling and producing a documentary in France. He is looking forward to filming in France and getting all the cool shots! A fun fact about Adam is that he has his FAA Part 107 Drone Pilot License and he is also a Post-Production Assistant for ABC News. This is his second time taking the documentary course after being a cinematographer & editor on 2022’s  “Tide to Table: The Remarkable Journey of Oysters.”

KATerina PLESCIA

Katerina Plescia is a fourth year Digital Journalism major at Pace. While working on the documentary team, she’s excited about growing her research and interview skills as well as learning how to operate production equipment. A fun fact about Kat is that she ran for the DownUnder Sports U.S. track team during her sophomore year of high school!

DARA POTTS

Dara Potts is a first year graduate student pursuing a Masters degree in Communications and Digital Media. She is excited to travel and work in France and learn all about the behind-the-scenes of producing a documentary. A fun fact about Dara is that she lived abroad twice, in England and Italy!

CAMI ROADMAN

Cami is a third-year Digital Cinema and Filmmaking major. She is excited about working on the documentary because she is excited to see the farms! A fun fact about Cami is that she likes to write!

SEAN RORKE

Sean is a third-year Digital Cinema & Filmmaking major at Pace. He is most excited to travel and learn as much as possible throughout the process of producing the documentary. A fun fact about Sean is that he is a captain of the Pace Swimming & Diving team!

ANGIE STARN

Angie Starn is a third year Digital Cinema Filmmaking major. She is most excited to create a well rounded documentary that captures the beauty and essence of food! A fun fact about Angie is that she is part of 4 organizations on campus: Pace Pride, Gamma Sigma Sigma, Pace Esports and SGA. Angie also works at the ITS help desk!

BRITTANY WALKINGSTICK

Brittany Walkingstick is a second semester graduate student pursuing a Masters degree in Communications and Digital Media. She is excited to work with a great crew of people and travel across the pond to spread the message about the power of the Slow Food Movement. A fun fact about Brittany is that she won first place at a chili cooking contest with her dad when she was ten. He made the chili and she wrote an essay about why it was the best.

BRENNAN WARD

Brennan Ward is a third-year Digital Cinema and Filmmaking major at Pace University. Since he was a kid, he has always been interested in films and storytelling and is very excited to be given the opportunity to work on this documentary. A fun fact about Brennan is that he has never traveled outside of the United States, so he is excited to make France his first international experience, especially for this documentary. Along with traveling to France, Brennan is most excited to work with a team to create a film that can teach audiences about an interesting subject.

NEATH WILLIAMS

Neath Williams is a graduate student pursuing a Masters degree in Communications and Digital Media. He is expected to graduate in May 2024. Neath is super excited to work on a documentary from start to finish with an opportunity to be able to be involved in all aspects of the process from research, development, filming, and post-production. Neath is stoked to be able to put his hands on the entire process and have this ability unlike anywhere else. A fun fact about Neath is that he once went to a Halloween party at Jared Leto’s house.
